The presenter is Patrick McGrath, Ph.D., who is the Director of the Alexian Brothers Center for Anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders. Patrick is also the Co-Director of the School Anxiety and School Refusal Program at Alexian Brothers Behavioral Health Hospital in Hoffman Estates, IL. He has been featured on numerous radio and tv programs, and is author of a stress management workbook called "Don't Try Harder, Try Different" as well as "The OCD Answer Book."

Treating Anxiety with CBT and ERP 

Objectives: 
 Know the signs and symptoms of the major anxiety based disorders (Panic, Phobias, OCD, PTSD, Social Anxiety) 

 Develop a means to explain CBT and ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) to patients in a way that motivates 
them to participate in treatment. 

 Become familiar with CBT and ERP for Anxiety Disorders

 Practice the application of ERP for Anxiety Disorders
