Provide full-time case management services on all levels of the child welfare system designed to achieve permanency for children within their family of origin, extended family, or a foster/adoptive family with the policy and procedures of the agency, COA, and regulatory agency.  

Minimum requirements:  

·        Bachelor’s degree in social work or degree in related human services field

·        Minimum one year of child welfare experience

·        Valid state of Illinois driver’s license and proof of automobile liability insurance

·        Access to transportation

·        Demonstrated ability to communicate in a clear, comprehensible manner, both verbally and in writing

·        Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences present within the agency and service population. 

Also seeking a Child Welfare Supervisor. Under the supervision of the Program Director or designee, this individual will manage and direct a team of child welfare staff providing foster care, adoption and other child welfare services. 

Minimum requirements:
 

·        MSW or master’s degree in related human services field

·        Five years experience in the child welfare field and foster care, 2 years of supervisory experience

·        Child Welfare Employee Licensure

·        Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance

·        Record of compliance with the law and clearance on Illinois CANTS

·        Capacity to understand, and empathize with the cultural, psychological, and practical needs of the clients that the agency serves
