Associate Executive Director
Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is a nonprofit statewide organization which seeks an Associate Executive Director for the Peoria based children’s division. Primary responsibilities include assisting with the overall management and administration of the Children’s Community Service Network operations in Central Illinois, Peoria Region which includes programs that provide foster care, adoption, counseling, and prevention services through five offices. A MSW or other COA approved Masters Degree and DCFS licensure are required. Significant experience in nonprofit management, preferably in a social services organization is essential. The ideal applicant must have a child welfare background; be a visionary leader; and a capable administrator with strong fiscal management skills. Proven ability to partner with communities, other nonprofit social services agencies, and governmental agencies is essential. This position will be available in June 2006.
Minimum requirements:
. MSW or masters degree in closely related human services field

. Significant upper management experience
