VICE PRESIDENT – INTERNATIONAL ADOPTION

 

 

Lifelink Corporation is a 111-year old, multi-service organization that provides a diverse mix of international adoption, housing for seniors and physically challenged adults, health care and child and family services to more than 22,000 people annually.

 

Reporting to the President/CEO, the Vice President of International Adoption will be responsible for expanding the international adoption program. The ability to develop and implement marketing strategies to increase market share of adoption applications and placements, and maintain existing and new partnerships is required.  The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing positive relationships and communication with partnering foreign agencies.  In addition, the Vice President will explore the development of new adoption resources in countries where Lifelink may not currently have a relationship.

 

We seek a creative thinker and entrepreneurial leader whose track record demonstrates an ability to grow programs. The successful candidate will be a self-directed individual who has the ability to develop a departmental strategic plan and accompanying business plan. A graduate degree from an accredited college or university is required.  A masters’ degree in human services, social work or related field is preferred.  Evidence of continuing education in areas such as marketing and/or business development would be a plus.  Ten years of professional experience in a senior management capacity is required, preferably with an adoption or human services organization.  A willingness to travel frequently both domestically and internationally is required.
