Cunningham Children’s Home is seeking qualified candidates for the following positions:

 

Clinical Case Worker, Girls’ Group Home:

Provide mental health and case management services to eight females ages 15-18. Requirements: Masters degree in human services (preferably social work, clinical or counseling psychology) and one year of professional experience (or 1000 hours of supervised internship experience). Previous work experience in child welfare, work with children/adolescents, and/or families preferred. Must meet the Medicaid Community Mental Health Services qualifications for a Qualified Mental Health Professional. For full consideration, apply by December 20.

 

Night Cottage Counselor:

Use your mentoring skills, personal strength, and teamwork to provide for the care, welfare, safety and security of adolescents ages 9 and up with emotional or behavioral disorders. Work in pairs with the assistance of on-call staff to provide overnight supervision and support to up to ten youth ages 9-16. This position requires staying awake and alert throughout a 10 or 12 hour overnight shift with 4 nights on, 4 nights off. High School diploma or GED required.

 

Primary On-Call Worker

The Primary On-Call worker provides on-call services, safety support and staff back-up for main campus and community-based programs in the event of staff shortages or client crises, 7 p.m. – 7 a.m., scheduled for four days on, four days off. High School Diploma or GED required, with at least one year of Human Services experience. MHP preferred.

 

Substitute Cottage Counselor:

Are you a student? Looking for a job that can fit around your class schedule? Can you be a strong mentor to a young person? Cunningham Children’s Home is seeking qualified candidates to provide substitute supervision and care to youth with emotional and behavioral disorders. Available shifts include 5-11 p.m. weeknights, overnights Friday and Saturday, and 1-11 p.m. on weekends. Qualified substitute workers are eligible to take part in an accelerated training program January 10-15, 2005.
